The biblical definitions of Salvation

When the Bible speaks of salvation it could refer any of two things:
1) The election of people, deliverance from the power of sin, (1 Peter 3:21)
2) The deliverance from the punishment in the lake of fire (Rev 20:14-15.)

The Salvation from Sin:

People are elected for salvation, freeing them from the bondage of sin.

Mark 16:15-16 wrote:
Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned.

The Indoctrination

The one being saved should undergo indoctrination. And the preacher must be a duly commissioned minister, not self-appointed, and Jesus chose (John 15:16) them. Therefore, the word "Go ye" does not refer to just anybody but those he chose to preach. Because, a preacher is a fake preacher if he is not sent by Jesus to preach. Paul undermines the capability of a fake preacher to preach when he said "how can they preach if they are not sent as apostles?" (Romans 10:15)

Romans 10:14-15 wrote:
How will they thus call upon whom they do not believe? Or how will they believe in whom they did not listen to? Or how will they hear [about him] without someone preaching [to them.] Or how can they preach if they are not sent as apostles?...

The Principles of the Doctrine of Christ is explicitly written in the Bible. Some of which are: The Doctrine of Baptisms, The Foundation of Repentance from Dead Works, and Eternal Judgment.

Heb 6:1-2 wrote:
Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

The Baptism

Why did Jesus said that in order to be saved one must not only believe but should be baptized as well? Simply because baptism is a part of the Christian doctrine they preach and it requires work. This work once accomplished is the manifestation of one's belief in the "Doctrine of Baptisms" (Heb 6:2); James said "I will show you my faith by my works." (James 2:18) If one disbelieves in this required work of salvation, Jesus said, he shall be condemned. (Mark 16:16)

Faith shown by work (first is baptism) gives you salvation. Baptism is also the one that makes one who has undergone indoctrination free from the sense of sin before God. They were cleansed of all their sins.

1 Peter 3:21 wrote:
And baptism, of which this is an image, now gives you salvation, not by washing clean the flesh, but by making you free from the sense of sin before God, through the coming again of Jesus Christ from the dead;

They are both sanctified and justified (past tense) at the time they were baptized. The Bible did not say that sanctification is "page by page."

1 Cor 6:11 wrote:
... but you have been washed, you have been sanctified, you have been justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and by the spirit of our God.

True Repentance from Dead Works

Repentance from dead works is one of the laid doctrinal foundation of Christianity (Heb 6:1.) Jesus is the one who established it. Once a person is baptized, it should be with repenting heart, and he is made whole. Members of Christ's body is taught during indoctrination the foundation of repentance from dead works. They were taught to change the way they were living, have a new attitude, become a new person created to be like God, truly righteous and holy. Jesus said "Sin no more" (John 5:14; John 8:11.) Paul, reminding those indoctrinated and baptized members of the Church of Christ about this teaching of Jesus, said:

Eph 4:17-24 wrote:
You have certainly heard his message and have been taught his ways. The truth is in Jesus. You were taught to change the way you were living. The person you used to be will ruin you through desires that deceive you.
However, you were taught to have a new attitude.
You were also taught to become a new person created to be like God, truly righteous and holy.

True repentance must be accomplished by everyone. This Christian doctrine is not to be believed alone by the members but just like baptism it should be carried out. They should actually get rid of every sin. Faith without works is useless (James 2:20.)

Eph 4:25-32 wrote:
So then, get rid of lies. Speak the truth to each other, because we are all members of the same body.
Be angry without sinning. Don't go to bed angry.
Don't give the devil any opportunity {to work}.
Thieves must quit stealing and, instead, they must work hard. They should do something good with their hands so that they'll have something to share with those in need.
Don't say anything that would hurt {another person}. Instead, speak only what is good so that you can give help wherever it is needed. That way, what you say will help those who hear you.
Don't give God's Holy Spirit any reason to be upset with you. He has put his seal on you for the day you will be set free {from the world of sin}.
Get rid of your bitterness, hot tempers, anger, loud quarreling, cursing, and hatred.
Be kind to each other, sympathetic, forgiving each other as God has forgiven you through Christ.

They did not say "reduce your sinning," niether they say "slowly stop sinning." Because if they did, no one will be fully sancified on the day of judgment. No one will be truly righteous and holy, like God. Example, if you reduce your sinning to 5% each month, will it ever get to zero? No!

Jesus said "sin no more," Paul said get rid of every sin, Peter said cease from sinning.

One is already sanctified once baptized, thus if a person go back to sinning he becomes like a pig and a dog (2 Peter 2:22.) And dogs will be among those who will perish in the lake of fire (Rev 22:15.)

If one continues his sinning, the Bible said, the Holy Spirit will be upset. His repentance is fake and void. One should never fall away from Jesus' commands and never go back to sin. Why? Because there is no second repentance that can renew them again. "It is impossible," the Bible said.

Heb 6:4-6 wrote:
For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

The so-called christians of today are very open and not even ashamed to say they are deliberate sinners. It is true. And the reason why they can not cease from sin is because the indoctrination they received did not come from a duly recognized minister sent by God, but only from a self-appointed ones. The baptism they perform is void of power from God that can transform anyone to be truly righteous and holy. That's why even if they try hard they can't actuate the true repentance required for salvation. They can't get rid of sin.

The Salvation from the Eternal Judgment:

Now, it is required for the elect to remain holy until the end doing only what is good in order to be saved in the day of Judgment. Why? Because it is the works that will determine if one is saved or not. Even if you profess faith but you have bad works you'll be condemned. The function of faith ends when the reason for believing is already at hand. At the day of Judgment it is your works that will bring you to condemnation or salvation and not your Faith Alone.

Rev 20:14-15 wrote:
And all were judged according to their deeds. And Death and Hades were hurled into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.

And if any one was found who was not written in the Book of Life, he was hurled into the lake of fire.

If one can not cease from sin, he will be cursed (2 Peter 2:14.) And cursed people will be thrown into the lake of fire (Matt 25:41-42) On the other hand, how about those baptized members who will remain faithful and holy (despite all the hardships in life) till the end?

Matt 24:13 wrote:
But he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved.

Therefore, there are two saving processes. A person is first saved into one body (Romans 12:5), through indoctrination and baptism (Mark 16:15) he was redeemed and became member of the flock or the Church of Christ (Acts 20:28). And in the end, if he remained free from the sense of sin, he will be saved into eternal life (Matt 24:13).

The first salvation requires FAITH, but the second salvation requires WORKS. (by JigsNep)

Who was Melchizedek?

Melchizedik found in the old testament in the holy book of GenesisThe existence of Melchizedek.
The term is a transliteration of two Hebrew words, melek and tsedeq. He Hebrew melek means king and tsedeq means righteousness."
Paul is clearly saying that Melchizedek, like the Most High God, was without parents. Neither of them had beginning of days nor end of life. The two of them had always lived and there had never been a time that each of them had not lived. Melchizedek had always possessed life inherent. Life was not given to Him, He was not anyone's so.
God Has Anointed You
Every priest taken from among men is ordained to serve on behalf of men in things pertaining to God so that he may offer gifts and sacrifices for sin. No one takes this honor to himself, he must be called of God, as Aaron was (Hebrews 5:1, 4). So also, Christ did not glorify Himself to be made a high priest, but He who said to Him,
"You are My Son, today I have begotten You" said also in another place, "You are a priest forever, after the order [the facsimile] of Melchizedek" (Hebrews 5:5). Melchizedek served as the Priest of the Most High God. Because He had loved righteousness and hated iniquity, God made Him a Son and anointed Him with the oil of gladness above His brethren (Hebrews 1:9). The word translated "anointed" is the Greek chrio which refers to contact between the one being anointed and the one doing the anointing. The Greek word Christos, translated "Christ" is derived from chrio.

Important facts about the World

If i will choose money, God will not like me anymore..because as far as i know, Money is the root cause of all evil..The most important in the world to have is not material thing, according "Seek ye first the kingdome of God", and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.. The material thing like money or education you want the knowledge you want to learn and the things you would like to earn is just an additional thing after you have seek God according to what is written in the Holy Scriptures... According people should belong to a place where the son of God who is Christ the redeemer assemble us.. We are put in one body that is why we should be one in faith, and in one in actions. We should acknowledged Christ Jesus as the Mediator between men and God.

It takes courage for us to become humble

Why it's hard to see our own mistakes?
Why most often it's easy to judge the mistakes of
others and difficult to recognized our own mistakes?
Is it human nature?
Deep down in our conscience we see our mistakes
crystal clear. It is the consequences of admitting
our mistakes that we are afraid of and therefore try
to hide them from public view as far as possible.
But the guilt will eat into our system for a long
time to come. It is better therefore to admit our
fault and face the consequences.
We need somebody to bounce off our actions. And to
remind us if we are crossing the line.
It may be hard for someone to see his own mistake
because his focus is on the mistakes of others. If
you notice, many people find it easier to criticize
others because of their mistakes but seldom can you
hear someone who criticize himself because of his
mistakes.
I hope and also would like to learn to critic myself
rather than others. I hope and pray that I will
always see my mistake so that I will not develop an
attitude thinking that I am holier than others. Good
day.
And I think this is a very wonderful idea. If
everyone pray for himself or for herself the kind of
world we live is going to be a peaceful one. Other
thing as well on why we find it hard to notice or
see our own mistakes it's because we always think
that we are better and good than others, it's the
superiority complex. It takes so much courage for
one to be humble.

Seeing yourself in a Mirror...

Yeah, i am a mirror addict. and i really wanted and wish to have a room having four mirrors in every corner. It's pretty nice to see your face and body in the mirror. One reason for viewing myself in the mirror was that if i go out of my room i dont wanna to have the feeling of insecurities and uncomfortable because i have not check my grooming. I want to put everything in an arrange situation. Having good looks, even you are not that beautiful.

Because of Love?

Because of love, i think i have able to do things which is against with my conscience.
Is this really love?
I think to much love is no longer be called love.
Love if defined to be kind and unselfish. You have to show love, not just to feel it.
In my life, i haven't encounter a person who truly love me the way i love him. I don't feel the love i am longing for.., or it is just me who comes to be very selfish?
Why on earth, i feel such things like this, why on earth i don't feel that i am loved and take care by other people.
It is only me who show love., but do you think it is necessary to expect from the person whom you have love?

The Bible is opposed to the the idea that God is unknowable.

by: Jigs Nep

What can be known about God is clear to them because he has made it clear to them. (Romans 1:19)
What can be known about God is clear, the Bible said. The reason for this is that God has made it clear. So, there is no reason for anybody who profess belief in God to think otherwise.
Why is it important that we possess knowledge about God? The Bible said, we need to know God to attain eternal life. Jesus said: "This is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God..." (John 17:3)
To whom does the pronoun "you" refer? Is it the Son, the Holy Spirit, or the Father.
Jesus said the only true God is the Father.
These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes and said, Father, the hour is come: glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he may give eternal life to all whom thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, to know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. (John 17:1-3)
Jesus Christ was sent by the only true God, that is none other than the Father, to make known to men about the only true God, the Father. So, the concept of trinity (a word coined and interpolated by Tertulian --a man declared by the Catholic Church as heretic) that there are three persons in one God and each person that comprises this God are all God, not only can never be found in the Bible but against it as well. Since the Father is the only true God, then Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit are not Gods, therefore.
Furthermore, in John 1:1 the Bible said: "...the word was God." Therefore, knowing "the word" equals knowing God. What is this word that when we knew it equivalently we know God? "...the old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning. (1 John 2:7)"
Is it enough that we know the commandments of God to say that we know God? No. The Bible said:
He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him; (1 John 2:4)
Therefore if your desire to know and understand God has something to do with the salvation of your soul when you die, then the Bible has stated it in no uncertain terms: The Father is the only true God and knowing Him requires that we obey His commandments.
Now, when you die you can no longer obey His commandments, neither you can know Him anymore.
For in death there is no memory of you; in the underworld who will give you praise? (Psalms 6:5)
So, when is the time to acknowledge the Father as the only true God and do all His commandments?
Whatever presents itself for you to do, do it with {all} your might, because there is no work, planning, knowledge, or skill in the grave where you're going. (Eccl 9:10)
The answer is now. Now that we are still alive.

One true God that exist

I real author behind this blogspot truly believed that there is only one God.
And this is the truth. I wonder why others, believed in two gods, and in three gods, others also believes that we are all Gods.
Why there is only one God?
The answer could be found in the holy scriptures alone, The holy scriptures or the bible is where the word of God written.
Who wrote the bible?
Revelation 10:4
And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven say, "Seal up what the seven thunders have said and do not write it down."
It was the messenger, the prophets, the apostles of God who have stand witness and author the word of God.
They don't write things in the bible as easy as they think right, they are guided by the holy spirit if they write things which was not says by God. They could have been punished.
10 but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 11 For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 12 We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us.
So, in the verse above no doubt God exist
Isa 42:1 See my servant, whom I am supporting, my loved one, in whom I take delight: I have put my spirit on him; he will give the knowledge of the true God to the nations/
Jn 8:41 You are doing the work of your father. They said to him, We are true sons of Abraham; we have one Father, who is God
John 17:3 And this is eternal life: to have knowledge of you, the only true God, and of him whom you have sent, even Jesus Christ.
My dear brothers and sisters i want you to take a deep reflection of this verse eventhough this verse is very easy to understand.
God is the only one God, the only true God, There is no other God beside him..Jesus Christ is the mediator of between God and men.

Are you a Roman Catholic?

Then if so? Are you familiar with your doctrine.

The following are the selected Roman Catholic Doctrine?

Teaching that Jesus is the Son of God sent to die for the sins of the world

God is a triune God, consisting of God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Ghost.

In accepting Jesus and serving Him, believers are granted life eternal.

Members must accept the church as having the fullness of revelation, and according to Roman

Catholic catechism is the only Christian body that is "holy, universal and apostolic"

Apostolic succession is key in the faith, saying that the pope and bishops have varying degrees of authority from Jesus.

Penance and the Eucharist are required at least once a year

Well, my dear friend if you are going to read the bible you cannot read the work Holy Trinity there, There's such word as Pope, Purgatory etc...

Accordingly these catholic doctrines really contradicts what bible says but they are claiming to be the true Religion in the world.

God anointed the son with the holy spirit

Anyone familiar of this verse? Bible Explorer God AND anointedMontgomeryNT

Ac 10:38Peter’s Speech38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how he went about everywhere doing good, and curing all who were oppressed by the devil; for God was with him."

In this statement who is God here? He was the one who anointed Jesus

Who is Jesus then? means we are talking of two identity here. God and Jesus

What is the Holy Spirit in the statement, what it's role?

It was used by God to anoint Jesus Christ. So the Holy Spirit in the statement was brought by God and was transfer to Jesus Christ his son

My dear friend., now, try to ponder the statement above.
i will quote it again "Ac 10:38Peter’s Speech38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how he went about everywhere doing good, and curing all who were oppressed by the devil; for God was with him."

The three separate subject referring to the Holy Trinity of the Catholic is too complicated to understand?

My dear Catholic friends, I would like to leave some question to you?
referring to your doctrines. , the holy trinity one...then, how will you explain the presence of the trinity in Ac 10:38...

You can post your answer on my blog., as i'm interested to learned your side and studies about this. I know there are a lot of scholars out there, hope you could give me the best explanation about the role of the trinity in the statement that God anointed his son Jesus Christ with the Holy Spirit.
