Christ promise to return

Christ will return to earth personally, bodily, visibly, and gloriously because this is what the angels of God assured the disciples as they watched Him being taken up before their very eyes"... This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven" (Acts 1:11, Ibid.). "Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in teh sky; and all the peoples of earth will weep as they see teh Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory" (Matthew 24:30, Today's English Version).
