Leadership vs. Management

Management is all about allocating the available human energy while leadership is about raising the level of human energy that is available.
Management is the process of assuring that the program and objectives of the organization are implemented. Leadership, on the other hand, has to do with casting vision and motivating people.
Managers are those who do things right; Leaders are those who do the right things.
Making sure that the work is doe by others is the accomplishment of a manager; inspiring others to do better work is the accomplishment of a leader.
The Definition of Leadership: Influence
“Leadership is all about influence.”
